I have enclosed a few shots of the former mud puddle in my back yard which has been transformed into a beautiful garden walkway using your product. The area is about 20 by 50 feet which is surrounded by my house on the south, and higher ground on the other three sides. The result is a low area with no way to drain the water which collects during our heavy rainfalls. It was an ugly mess tracked into the house by people and two dogs, all day, every day.

I tried to think of a way to overcome the problem of having to walk through the area from the drive to the backdoor without walking through the unavoidable dirt and water. I figured that there was no way to beat mother nature and gravity so I would have to come up with another way to overcome the problem. I considered raising the area with fill, adding gravel, rocks, mulch, a wood deck, and concrete. None of those things were what I was looking for and any of them would have been expensive and a lot of work.

RubberStuff was the answer. I killed the grass, leveled the area, laid shade cloth and 25 bags of rubber mulch to cover the majority of the area. Stepping stones and 4 bags of the small green pieces fill in between the stones to give the feel of grass and add a little interest. Since the rubber doesn't float and is not affected by water and doesn't mat down or rot or smell or blow away as mulch would have done, not to mention the labor involved in any of the other choices it was the perfect answer.

The rubber with the addition of some stepping stones to raise the "ground" level to an average of three to four inches means that we and the dogs can now walk to the door without ever walking in the mud and grass. The standing water is still there for a few hours after a hard rain, but it is under the RubberStuff and stones. As you can see, the result is a dry attractive garden approach to the rear door of the house where there was formerly a muddy mess and it's maintenance free. The dogs love it as we do. A great product!

We just want to tell you your RubberStuff Landscape Mulch is a GREAT product.

Our flower beds got in a very bad shape because we are both partially disabled and couldn't take care of them. Recently some young people from our church cleaned them out for us. My husband has purchased 25 bags so far and our daughter spread the "stuff" in the clean flower beds. What a difference it makes. We have a lot more area to cover and will do it gradually.
